• Keep abreast of the developed curriculum at the four departments of the Faculty to modern scientific developments in the fields of Applied Sciences (Meteorology, Environment, Arid Land Agriculture and Hydrology and Water Resources Management).
• Link the different curricula to the actual needs of the current and future labor market.
• Raise scientific efficiency and develop the student's intellectual and research capabilities to encourage him on thinking in a scientific analytic way.
• The development of courses in eight different levels distributed over four years of study and arranged in a coherent manner that helps the student to achieve the desired scientific qualification in sequence and clarity.
• Contribute to meet the needs of the Kingdom of various scientific and applied researches in the fields of meteorology, environment, agriculture and water, and provide resources and human expertise scientifically qualified to meet the needs of the development plans in the Kingdom.
• Contribute to the advancement of science and knowledge through authoring and conducting scientific research.
• Provide assistance and advice to the public and private sectors, through the preparation of studies, consultations, conferences and training courses.
• Prepare the trained technical staff to work in the fields of specialization of the college, through the provision of technical and training programs in the different departments of the faculty.
• Contribute to the transfer of technology in the fields of specialization of the faculty, through the translation of the original works and the use of related modern devices.
